O'Fallon Police searching for suspect wanted for armed robbery

O'FALLON, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

Police in O'Fallon, Ill., are looking for a man who showed a firearm during a robbery Friday night. 

Around 8:48 p.m., O'Fallon Police said they responded to an alarm in the 1700 block of W Hwy 50, in O'Fallon. The call was for a robbery at a KFC restaurant. 

Surveillance images show a lone man, dressed in all black, entering the KFC. Police said the suspect displayed a firearm to employees and demanded money. 

The suspect then fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of money. Police said he was last seen running south toward Caste Acres Mobile Home Community.
