NORTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -

Lots of police officers were at a scene near the intersection of Broadway and Mullanphy, close to the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge.

More than 12 police cruisers were on the scene, which is close to Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier.

Officer say they followed a car taken in a robbery and arrested two suspects.

The owner of the car told News 4 he was carjacked by three men in Dutchtown on Friday. He said two of the men had guns.

"They pulled out a couple of guns, held them to my chest, told me don't move, just went into my pockets, they took everything in my pockets, my car keys, hopped in my cars and drove off," he says.

The victim, who asked us not to identify him, says he doesn't keep a lot of cash on him, so that was good. He says the men did rack up some small charges at local gas stations, before his credit cards got canceled. He says he had written off the fact he would probably never see his car again. He says he was surprised when he got the call from police Tuesday, that they had found it.

"I saw my car there, little more damage then the last time i saw it, which it to be expected, but it was kind of nice to see that car back," he says.

It is not known if the suspects arrested were responsible for the carjacking. The victim says he will be going to police headquarters on Wednesday to see if they are. In the meantime, he says he just wants this all behind him.

"It is just something you kind of have to work through. I enjoy going out, I definitely don't want to be a shut in for the rest of my life," he says.
