Man pulls box cutter on Nick's Pub employee

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

One man is in custody after police said he pulled a box cutter on bar employees overnight. 

The incident occurred just after 3:00 a.m. at Nick's Pub, which is in the 6000 block of Manchester Avenue.

Police said the suspect, a 25 year-old man, was removed from the bar because he was unable to pay his tab. The suspect later kicked in a locked door in the rear of the building, where he pulled a box cutter out and approached the pub's employees. 

One victim, a 39 year-old man, was injured. The suspect used the box cutter to cut the back of the victim's head. 

The victim, along with other employees, subdued the victim until police arrived on the scene. 

The suspect was taken into custody. 

The victim was taken to the hospital, where his condition is listed as stable. 

The investigation is ongoing.
