ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO -

(KMOV.com) -- Do you have fall leaves blanketing your yard? You're not alone.

Some area students may be able to help you rake them. Last month Lindbergh Academy students raked leaves for senior citizens and the disabled living within the district boundaries.

They plan to do it again next Friday, November 18. They are also challenging other schools to get involved.

"Ryan Sherp of Fox High School, Lindbergh Academy challenges Fox's alternative high school Nov. 18th. We are gonna be out here again raking, and we want to challenge you and see who can rake the most lawns between 8am and noon. Challenge is on," said English Teacher Daniel Murphy.

The Fox School District's Bridges Program has accepted the challenge.

Other districts are also considering it.
