ST.LOUIS, MO. (KMOV.com) – The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is encouraging job-seekers to prepare for job interviews, as retailers and shippers plan to hire more than 640,000 seasonal positions.

Some of the major retailers, including Walmart, Target, Macy's, and UPS are all seeking new employees.

The BBB advises potential job applicants to polish up their resumes, research potential employers, and apply immediately.

BBB president and CEO, Michelle L. Corey said this is positive news for job seekers, “While holiday jobs are usually temporary, many retailers end up hiring some holiday workers permanently.”
