Metro East teen who was missing for almost a month, has been found

O'FALLON, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

A Metro East teenager who was missing for almost a month has been found by a hospital. 

Police said Kimberly Sue Klaver was found at a St. Louis hospital late last night. The hospital contacted the O'Fallon Police Department after learning about Klaver being the missing teen. 

Klaver's parents were called and have taken custody of their daughter. 

Klaver, 16, was reported missing Oct. 9. Police said her last known contact with a family member was Oct. 17, but since then, she has not been heard from since. She is believed to be in the Metro East and is known to frequent Cahokia, Ill. 

She was last seen wearing a maroon top, black shorts, and black tennis shoes. She stands at 5'2" and weights around 145 pounds. She has blonde hair, which is shaved on the side of her head, and wears piercings in her ears. 

Klaver was entered into the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children's website.
