ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Republicans and Democrats in Missouri started their final push of the campaign Wednesday with Get Out The Vote efforts in the races for governor and U.S. Senate.

Chris Koster and Jason Kander kicked off a small rally with supporters in Midtown St. Louis

"Now the 5, 6 day period to turn it loose and get out there in the streets," said Koster, the Democratic candidate for governor.

In Springfield, Republicans Eric Greitens and Sen. Roy Blunt held a larger rally that also featured U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.

Both races for governor and Senate in Missouri are running very tight according to polls.
