WASHINGTON, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Several officers with the Washington, Missouri Police Department took time out of their day on Halloween to play kickball with fourth-graders at Washington West Elementary School.

Among the officers who took to the playground to compete with the students was Police Chief Ed Menefee, Assistant Police Chief Captain Jim Armstrong and Detective Sergeant Steve Sitze.

Although the kickball game was very competitive, the students came out the victors in the end.
