CHESTER, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Chester, Illinois officer killed during a crash Friday night.

A visitation for Ofc. James Brockmeyer will be held Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Colbert Gymnasium at Chester High School, located at 1901 Swanwick Street. A walk through for law enforcement and fire department officials will be held at 6 p.m.

The funeral will take place the next day, Thursday, at 10 a.m. with a grave site service being held at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, located at 851 Palestine Road in Chester.
