The man suspected of multiple vehicle thefts has admitted to the crimes, police said.

Lincoln County man Blaine Erp, 21, admitted to breaking into multiple vehicles and stealing firearms.

Deputies from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to a call in the 6000 block of Highway K in Lincoln County. The call was for a car break-in.

The victim told police that someone was in their driveway on a camouflage ATV. The victim went to their vehicle and found their Marlin .22 and Ruger .357, both handguns, were missing from the vehicle.

Patrol units searched the area and found Erp parked along Highway K on the camouflage ATV.

Detectives with the Sheriff's Office searched Erp's residence, and found the .22 in his basement. Erp told investigators he threw the other firearm, the .357, off of Mackville Road. Investigators later recovered the handgun.

Later in their investigation, detectives said they learned of multiple other break-ins that occurred throughout the night. These break-ins occurred in the 500 block of Spring Bluff Drive, 6000 block of Cuivre Ford Road, and the 200 block of Deer View. Stolen items from those incidents were also found in Erp's basement.

Erp is charged with three felony counts of Receiving Stolen Property. He is currently out on $2,000 bond.
