Police ID man killed during double shooting Saturday

NORTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -

One person was killed and another was wounded in a north St. Louis shooting Saturday evening.

The shooting happened near the intersection of Grand and Sullivan just before 5 p.m.  

Both victims were inside a burgundy car when they were shot. One man, identified as 29-year-old Geremy Brooks, was pronounced dead inside the vehicle.

The other victim, a 19-year-old man, was found in the 3600 block of Hebert with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to the hospital and listed in serious, but stable condition.

A large crowd gathered as police collected evidence on the scene.

Information regarding a suspect has not been released.
