ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Thursday marks the five-year anniversary of the day David Freese sent the City of St. Louis into party mode.

During game 6 of the World Series against the Texas Rangers, the St. Louis native hit a walk-off home run in the 11th inning to give the St. Louis Cardinals the 10-9 win to tie the series 3-3, forcing a game 7.

The Cardinals then went on to win the seventh game of the series 6-2, making the team World Series Champions for the 11th time.
