BRIDGETON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – All westbound lanes of interstate 70 in Bridgeton were closed after a pedestrian was struck and killed. 

Sean Ditter, 45, of St. Peters, was in the westbound lanes of the interstate when he was hit by a 2012 Ford Transit around 3 a.m. Monday near St. Charles Rock Road.

Ditter was pronounced dead on the scene by Pattonville Ambulance  personnel. 

The westbound lanes reopened around 5:45 a.m.
