AFFTON (KMOV.com) -

The St. Louis Jr. Blues team will donate proceeds from its Saturday, October 22 game to the family of Officer Blake Snyder.

Proceeds from the game against the Evansville Thunderbolts will also benefit BackStoppers.

Coach Chris Flaugher says the team had already planned the event before Snyder’s death, but now plans to do something especially for the family.

St. Louis Blues alumni Cam Janssen, Reed Low, and Larry Patey are set to sign autographs.

The team will also wear special jerseys that will be auctioned for BackStoppers.

“Everything that we raise from the silent auction and the autograph session will go the Snyder family, and all the proceeds from the jersey auction will go to Backstoppers,” Flaugher said.

The game is being held at the Affton Ice Arena at 10300 Gravois Rd

Admission is $6 for adults, and half price for officers and first responders.
