One man is dead, and another is badly injured following two separate shootings in North County.
Around 6:31 p.m., Ferguson Police officers were called to the 400 block of S. Dade Avenue, in Ferguson, Mo. Police said the call was for "shots fired", with a subject down.
When police arrived, officers found a man lying in the street, sustaining a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
Just a minute later, at 6:32 p.m., police received an identical call of shots fired with a subject down in the 200 block of Gage, three miles east from the initial shooting.
Responding officers found a male subject lying in the street, with a sustained gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition.
The Ferguson Police Department said they are currently interviewing possible witnesses for both shooting cases. They are also searching both areas for additional leads or suspects.
The investigation is ongoing and News 4 will update this story as more information becomes available.
