ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A man accused of attempting to rob a downtown St. Louis bank and taking money from another is in custody.

Charles Wilson, 43, of the 1000 block of Cole Street, is accused of taking an unknown amount of money from the U.S. Bank at 301 North Tucker on Monday and attempting to rob the Bank of America at 1500 St. Louis Avenue on Tuesday.

The suspect has been charged with attempted robbery for the Bank of America incident. Investigators also plan to apply for warrants in connection to the U.S. Bank robbery.

 Wilson is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
