NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

A body found by maintenance workers behind a Lutheran church in North County has been identified as belonging to a missing man with dementia.

Workers were tending to a lawn behind the Lutheran Church of the Living Christ in the 2700 block of Concord Drive around 5:00 p.m. when they came across a dead body.

Authorities later identified the dead man as Ivory Kelly, 64, who went missing from his North County home on August 1. He was suffering from the early stages of dementia.

Kelly's death does not appear to be suspicious, police say. The investigation is ongoing.
