CREVE COEUR, Mo. (KMOV.com) - Federal officials are targeting a Creve Coeur company that allegedly tricked customers into paying hundreds of dollars for unnecessary computer repairs.

The Federal Trade Commission has issued an order to stop Global Access Technical Support. The business is accused of placing pop up ads designed to look like warnings from Apple or Microsoft, saying the computer has a virus and they need to call their toll free number.
