Arnold hotel evacuated overnight following domestic disturbance

ARNOLD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Guests were forced to evacuate an Arnold hotel following a domestic disturbance overnight.

A 34-year-old man allegedly hit his 35-year-old wife twice during an argument at the Woodbridge Estates, located at 888 Arnold Commons, around 12:10 a.m. Wednesday.

When the woman started going down the hall to look for help, she grabbed a fire extinguisher, discharging it and setting the fire alarms off. The woman then broke a window, cutting her hand.

The woman was transported to the hospital for the cut on her hand. The man was arrested on domestic violence offenses.

Fire crews had a difficult time shutting off the alarm because of the lingering powder from the extinguisher.

No other details have been released.
