Citing irregularities, judge orders another do-over election in St. Louis City

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A judge has ordered a new election involving a member of the Hubbard family.

Tuesday, a judge ordered a new election on November 8 for 5th Ward Commiteeman. Rodney Hubbard defeated Rasheen Aldridge by 55 votes when voters initially went to the polls. Aldridge received more votes on election day, but Hubbard emerged victorious because more than 70 percent of the absentee ballots were cast for him.

Aldridge challenged the result citing ballot irregularities.

Hubbard's wife Penny lost a do-over election to Bruce Franks in the Democratic primary for Missouri's 78th District. Penny Hubbard won the first election, but it was overturned to due problems with absentee ballots.
