FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

A missing 13-year-old girl from Fairview Heights was reunited with her mother early Tuesday morning. 

Christine Sanders was last seen at her family’s home in the 400 block of Joseph Drive on Sunday morning, police said. Her mother reported her missing on Monday.

Authorities believed she was with Napoleon Bacon, 20, an acquaintance of the Sanders family. Bacon is homeless.

The two were spotted at around 11:30 a.m. Monday at Grace Church in Fairview Heights asking for money. They are believed to be on foot.

Around 4 a.m. Tuesday, Sanders was found unharmed in Woodson Terrace, Missouri.
