St. Louis, Mo. (KMOV.com) --- A debate watch party was held at Washington University's Des Lee Concert Hall Sunday night.

"It is very exciting to be a part of it here and in St. Louis. This is one of the most controversial debates," one Washington University Freshman said.

Inside, a packed room waited anxiously for the debate to get underway. Once it did, people said they noticed the overall tone of it.

"It is more harsh then it was with the first debate. They have been attacking each other more and Trump is not backing down,” said Tim Hooper.

Another watch party viewer noted she felt the candidates did not answer the questions and left them with a feeling of uncertainly.

"He makes claims about what he is going to do and has no specifics about his plan. I am a person want to hear the specifics," said Kellie Seymour.

One thing that was not uncertain is who people will be voting for next month. Many told us Sunday's debate did not sway from their original candidate.
