Autism Speaks looks to fund research to find cures and treatments

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Autism Speaks Walk is Saturday in Forest Park, but the organization works year-round to empower families affected by the disorder.

Autism Speaks began in 2005 and ever since they have been spreading the word. 

“We want to change the future for those who struggle with autism spectrum disorder,” said Megan Hoffman, Executive Director of Autism Speaks. “We focus on funding research and science to find new cures and treatments we also focus on creating awareness.”  

The organization is there to support families from day-one.
