ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

A report card, of sorts, that was released Thursday could help you make the choice of judges on the November ballot.

People might be shocked by the score one judge received.

Dale Hood is an associate circuit judge in St. Louis County. He got slammed on his judicial performance review in 2016, with only one person on a 21 member committee voting "yes" on whether he met judicial performance standards.

People surveyed said he was unprofessional, disrespectful, and that he didn't remain neutral, among other things.

But it's not the first time. In 2008 and in 2012, the committee recommended that he not be retained, but voters did so anyway.

Dale Doerhoff, chairman of the Judicial Performance Review Committee says the ratings system is meant to help inform voters, you've just got to know where to look.

“There is only so much voters want to absorb, so we make it available, so for voters who want to inform themselves, the information is there,” Doerhoff said.
