Charges filed against woman accused of robbing pharmacist in South County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO -

A woman has been charged for her alleged role in the robbery of a CVS pharmacist in South County. 

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office issued charges on Jessica Connell of Hillsboro. 

Connell, 33, was identified as the suspect who robbed a CVS pharmacist on Sept. 20. The robbery occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 7300 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.  

Police said Connell demanded the pharmacist give her multiple bottles of Xanax, a controlled stimulant, and told the pharmacist she had a weapon. 

Connell is being charged with one count of First-Degree Robbery. 

She is currently being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
