ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) – A 29-year-old man crashed his vehicle into a median in St. Louis County after being shot Tuesday morning.

Shortly before 4:20 a.m., the man was attempting to purchase drugs in the area of Goodfellow and Interstate 70, police said. While he was at the location, a black minivan pulled behind him and a silver vehicle pulled in front of him, blocking him in.

The victim attempted to drive his vehicle away, but the unknown occupants of the other vehicles fired shots, striking his vehicle and arm.

After the shots were fired, the suspect vehicles followed him until he struck a median on Jennings Station Road.

The victim was taken to the hospital and listed as stable.
