WEST ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

A West County restaurant owner has been indicted on felony charges for credit card fraud.

Mohaimenul Hoqe, one of the owners of Saffron in Des Peres, is accused of using the credit card to go on vacation to Niagara Falls with a woman. He allegedly spent $700.

Nancy Mullen said she found the fraudulent charge in early September while checking her balance after using the credit card to eat at Saffron.

"It was unbelievable, when I found out it was the owner," said Mullen.

A lawyer for Hoqe said his client denies the allegations.

Mullen said Hoqe came to her house on September 23. She says her boyfriend answered the door.

"He [the boyfriend] said, 'Are you the one that spent the weekend in Niagara Falls?' And he [Hoqe] said, 'Yes, but I won't do it anymore.' He [Hoqe] said, 'I really want to talk with her and apologize,'" said Mullen.

Police said it doesn't appear cards belonging to any other customers were taken.
