UPLANDS PARK, Mo. (KMOV.com) --- A north St. Louis County woman thinks her house is a target for thieves after it has been broken into four times since August.

The woman, who reached out to News 4, said her car has also been vandalized and was stolen in the morning on September 15.

"It is frustrating, it is sickening and I think that the people who are doing this have no heart, they don't care," said the victim.

She wanted to conceal her identity because after everything that has happened she fears for her life and the life of her kids.

The North County resident said since August, thieves have cashed in almost every time she has left her house.

"I feel like now, our home is a target and I don't even feel safe being there," said the victim.

Although the St. Louis County police is investigating, they say as of September 15, they do not have leads in any of the incidents.

"This is happening in broad daylight. You can not tell me there is no one outside when it happens," said the victim. "Someone is seeing something when it happens and nobody is saying nothing it's happened too many times the same way in broad daylight."

The woman said she is thinking about moving. She said the expenses are adding up, between a car rental and not being able to go to work because of the incidents happening in the daylight, she feels that her hands are tied.
