LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a suspect who failed to register as a sex offender.

William Lewis Roderique, of Winfield, failed to register as a sex offender in late July, according to the sheriff’s office.

When authorities went to Roderique’s last known address it was vacant. Neighbors said the 45-year-old moved out of the home a month earlier.

Roderique was charged and found guilty of first-degree sexual assault of a female under the age of 15 in Jefferson County in 1995.

Authorities said they consider Roderique a persistent offender. He reportedly has past arrest charges for felony and misdemeanor crimes.

Anyone with information regarding Roderique’s whereabouts should contact the sheriff’s office at 636-528-8543 ex. 3247 or 636-528-6100.
