CLAYTON (KMOV.com) -

An $800 million development proposal in Clayton will be discussed at a town hall meeting Tuesday night.

When the Centene Corporation Headquarters proposal was discussed in early August, the meeting was so packed some people had to be turned away at the door.

The plans call for the headquarters to be built on the intersection of Hanley and Forsyth. It includes apartments and retail space, with parking to boot.

Centene is asking for millions in public funding from the city of Clayton. Residents said they want to know how the funding would affect other public services if the plan is approved.

But funding was not the only concern of residents who attended the meeting. They also wanted to know how the headquarters would impact traffic and what impact the funding would have on other public services.

Tuesday night's meeting will take place at Clayton High School.
