5 injured in Saturday night shooting

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Police are currently investigating a shooting that injured five late Saturday night. 

The shooting occurred around 10:41 p.m. in the 5000 block of Kensington Avenue, just north of Delmar Boulevard near Fountain Park. 

Police responded to the scene, where they found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was falling in and out of consciousness. He was transported to the hospital, where his condition has since been updated from critical, stable condition. 

In the span of of less than three hours, four more victims were conveyed to the hospital. All four were victims of the shooting on Kensington. 

Unlike the first victim, the other four are in stable condition for gunshot wounds ranging from the leg to grazes on the arm. 

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. At this time, police do not have any information on a suspect.
