ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) – The St. Louis County Police Department has arrested two “persons of interest” in a burglary.

According to the department, they were called to a home in the 1300 block of Birch Meadow Drive on July 15 after several items, including various tools, sporting equipment and a purse, were reportedly taken. Authorities said the suspects entered the residence’s attached garage during the overnight hours and made entry to the home through the garage door that led to the kitchen.

Following the burglary, the suspects were seen on surveillance photos from a store in Eureka attempting to use a credit card that was reported stolen from the residence, police said.

The two were taken into custody Wednesday night by the Arnold Police Department.
