PIKE COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 22-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to sell stolen Pike County Fair Passes to unsuspecting residents.

Paige Lyane Hazlett, of Clarksville, is accused of stealing the passes from an employee’s desk at a business where she worked as a custodian. After taking the passes, she sold them at $25 apiece, $10 less than the Pike County Fairboard and other authorized retailers.

Authorities said Hazlett claimed to have sold about $1,600 worth of the passes at $25 each. The total value of the stolen passes was $2,730, officials said.

The fairboard said they will honor the passes Hazlett sold.

Hazlett is being held on a $10,000 bond at the Pike County Jail.
