NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

Two teens returned a wallet and more than $2,000 they found on the ground in North County.

Jackson Lamb and his girlfriend Morgan Diamond were driving on St. Charles Rock Road near Ritenour High School when they couldn’t believe what they saw.

“All of a sudden you see $100 dollar bills all over the place and he runs out of the car and throws them at me, I have no idea what to do,” said Diamond.

They also found a wallet in addition to the cash and decided to drive to the police station to turn in.

“Pretty much the way we were raised. We were both raised with respect and it was just the right thing to do. If it would have happened to me, I would have been crushed,” said Lamb.

In total, the wallet was lost for 20 minutes. The wallet's owner was so grateful to Lamb that he offered him a job working for his contracting company.
