$20 debt leads to shooting in downtown St. Louis

(KMOV.com) – Police say one man was injured during a shooting in downtown St. Louis after the Cardinals game Saturday night over a $20 debt.

According to authorities, shots were fired around 9:20 p.m. in the 200 block of north 9th Street, near Olive and Pine.

The victim, a 31-year-old man, was shot in the torso after getting into an argument with the suspect over a $20 debt.

The victim then walked to the police station for help.

Investigators say the victim and suspect know each other, but the victim isn't cooperating with the investigation.

Police are still searching for the suspect.
