ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Four months after human remains were found underneath carpet in the backyard of a home, the cause of death has been ruled a homicide.
Police said 56-year-old Isadore Spruell's body was found in the 4400 block of Labadie in north St. Louis on March 22, 2016.
On July 20, a medical examiner ruled Spruell died of craniocerebral blunt trauma.
No suspects have been taken into custody.
