ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A Warren County man pleaded guilty to transporting a minor across state lines to engage in criminal sexual activity.

Tuesday, Christopher Schroeder pleaded guilty to one felony count of transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity.

Schroeder was accused of taking a 15-year-old from the Cleveland-area who he met in an internet chat forum to Marthasville, Missouri. The girl was found inside his home nearly a month after she was reported missing after she went outside to tie up her dog on Nov. 8, police said.

After bringing the teen to Missouri, Schroeder video-taped him having sex with her without her knowledge, according to court records.

Schroeder’s charges carry a penalty range of 10 years to life in prison and/or fines up to $250,000. His sentencing has been set for October 19.
