Homicide victims from violent night in St. Louis identified

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Police have identified the two people who were killed during the four shootings that occurred over the weekend in four different locations in St. Louis. 

The night started off around 11:30 p.m. with a shooting in the 4200 block of Meramec Street between the Bevo Mill neighborhood and Tower Grove South.

Police responded to the scene and found a man in his 30's conscious and breathing. The victim had sustained two gunshot wounds, one to the leg and stomach. 

More than two hours later, police responded to the 5300 block of Theodosia Avenue in north St. Louis. A man. Identified as 25-year-old Latroyn Swopes, was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The second homicide of the night occurred around 2:24 a.m., just four miles east of Theodosia. Robert Paden, 41, was found lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, as well. 

The fourth shooting happened in 1400 block of N 10th Street, just south of the intersection of I-70 and I-44. Police arrived on the scene and found a male victim. He sustained gunshot wounds to his back and leg. 

He was found conscious and breathing and was taken to the hospital where he remains in stable condition. 

At this time, it is not known if police have suspects in any of the shootings. 

The investigations of all the overnight shootings are ongoing.
