HAZELWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Three overnight break-ins kept police in Hazelwood busy overnight.

Around 2:50 a.m. on July 13, police were called to the 7900 block of North Lindbergh after an alarm at a business was triggered. When they arrived, they saw the front glass doors of two businesses next door to each other, Aaron’s Rental and Dirt Cheap, had been broken out.

A short time later, a witness called the police department to report a suspect had broken out the front window to a dry cleaning business, located in the 6800 block of Howdershell. When officers arrived, they found the glass in the front door had been broken and about $19 had been taken. Police say the thieves were looking for cash in the registers in all three incidents.

Investigators say the same suspects may have targeted other businesses in Hazelwood and Florissant during the same week.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police.
