LEMAY, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A suspect involved in a South County homicide investigation has been arrested and charged, according to police.

John Hamm, 42, is allegedly responsible for the death of two of his roommates, Robert Hall, 46, and Shannon Larock, 41, after police say they found the victims dead inside a home in the 800 block of Kayser around midnight on Wednesday.

Hamm left the area in a 2014 Kia Optima after the murders, and police arrested him a few days later.

Investigators say Hamm has admitted to the crimes and has been charged with two counts of first degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, and one count of stealing a motor vehicle.

He is being held on a $2 million cash-only bond.
