Candlelight vigil to remember alderman's nephew taking place Wednesday

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A vigil is being held remember Ward 22 Alderman Jeffrey Boyd's nephew, Rashad Farmer.

Twenty-three-year-old Farmer was killed during a double shooting in the 5800 block of Lotus Ave in the Wells Goodfellow Neighborhood, the ward Boyd represents, on July 13, 2015.

In remembrance of Farmer's death, family and friends will hold a candlelight vigil starting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vigil will include a march from 1419 Roman Ave to Lotus and Goodfellow in north St. Louis. 

The family is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that will lead to the arrest of Farmer's killer.
