ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A few nightclub bouncers stopped a group of over a dozen teenagers breaking into cars in downtown St. Louis.

Surveillance video shows one of the teens trying the door handles on a few car, before they are caught and chased away.

The video footage was taken by security cameras at the St. Louis Auto Park parking lot on Delmar Boulevard and 16th Street near the City Museum.

“They're taking advantage of what they can. They'll steal a pair of sunglasses and they'll break your window to get it,” said Pat Hamill, owner of the St. Louis Auto Park. “The neighborhood's gonna have to be cleaned up. We're just trying to show how bad it is and that's the first thing that comes to my mind. Gotta do something about it.”

Police say the teens managed to break into a Volkswagen Jetta, taking cash from the center console.

No arrest have been made, according to authorities.
