ALTON, Ill. (KMOV.com) – The Alton Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the suspects in an armed robbery at a Sprint store on Thursday.

The robbery happened just before 8:00 p.m. A call was made to officers for a robbery in progress at 1750 Homer Adams Parkway.

Police say one of the suspects held an employee at gunpoint while the second suspect held them down. No one was injured, but the suspects did steal several items from the store.

They then fled in a silver car.

The suspects are described as both being between 20-25 years old, and approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall. One of the suspects was wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt, red had, and a red bandana over his face. The second suspect wore a black-hooded sweatshirt, black hat, and a black bandana over his face.

Anyone with information is asked to call Alton police.
