CATAWISSA, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 64-year-old man was arrested after being found passed out inside a vehicle at a gas station with an active “shake-n-bake” meth lab between his legs, police said.

William Edward Lee was arrested and charged after being found inside a vehicle at the Wayside South gas station, located at the intersection of Highway O and Highway HH in Catawissa.

The “shake-n-bake” meth-making process involves placing small amounts of ingredients inside a soda bottle and shaking them together.

Lee has been charged with one count of possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture methamphetamine and two counts of possession of methamphetamine. His cash-only bond was set at $30,000.

In 2003, Lee was arrested for firing gunshots at officers, according to the Mulch-County Violent Crime and Drug Task Force.
