JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

Jefferson County Police have placed a man in custody for his alleged role in a pair of thefts.

Brett Goldsberry was arrested on June 25.

Police said Goldsberry, 28, stole a walk-behind trimmer and a straight shaft trimmer from a victim's garage. The value of the trimmers is said to be $700.

Goldsberry was allegedly involved in a second incident, resulting in the theft of a ring and a camping grill. The ring's value is worth $8,000, while the grill is worth $200.

All items were sold to pawn shops in the area. The ring was offered up as collateral to secure a loan, police said.

The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office filed separate charged against Goldsberry. A $25,000 cash-only bond has been issued.

Police said an investigation is ongoing to determine if Goldsberry was involved in any other crimes.
