Chick-Fil-A holding fundraiser for Meramec drowning victim's family

SOUTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -

Chick-Fil-A's in the area are holding a fundraiser to raise money for the family of a high school teen who died in a drowning accident. 

Henry Manu, 18, drowned in the Meramec River on June 25, when he and two other people went swimming. Manu and another teen were pulled under the water. 

Three area Chick-Fil-A's will participate in fundraiser on July 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Timothy Lutheran Church Memorial Fund for Henry Manu to help his aunt with expenses. Manu lived with his aunt while in St. Louis.

The Chick-Fil-A locations participating in the fundraiser are located at 4125 Lemay Ferry Road, 10706 Sunset Hills Plaza and 1 Arnold Mall.
