ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Ill. (KMOV.com) -

A St. Clair County woman's goats have been returned after she asked for the public’s help after they were stolen from her St. Clair County farm.

Joyce Hicks said she considers the goats her pets. She told News 4 she and other family members were devastated when the goats were taken.

“My grandkids are really deeply hurt about,” said Hicks.

Hicks believed someone stole the goats while she was out of town. One goat is named Zeus, the other is named Ramses.

“I went out of town and brought my donkey and goats out here, and was hoping to come back and pick them up. I came to find out there were missing. I searched the whole property, me and my grandkids,” said Hicks.

Hicks said the other animals on her farm were depressed when the goats disappeared.

“Wherever the horses go, they go,” said Hicks.

Monday evening, hicks reached out to News 4 and said her goats were returned.
