FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOV.com) – A Swansea man is in custody in Fairview Heights accused of stabbing a 33-year-old man multiple times while he worked in his yard.

Jason Seibel, 31, allegedly approached the victim, who was working in his yard at his home in the 200 block of Union Hill Road, and stabbed him with a knife during a struggle around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

After being stabbed in the neck, chest and shoulder, the victim’s neighbor drove him to the hospital while his wife called police. After arriving at a hospital in Belleville, the man was airlifted by ARCH Helicopter to a St. Louis hospital and listed in stable condition.
