ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Detectives will meet with community members in response to a string of car windows that were shot out in South City last weekend.

Four detectives have been assigned to the case of nearly 200 vehicles that had their windows shot out beginning on Father’s Day.

Police believe teenagers armed with BB or Pellet guns are behind the vandalism of the vehicles that were parked on Alfred, Bancroft, Neosho and Eichelberger. No injuries have been reported.

Residents and officials will meet for the second time at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Southside Wellness Center, located in the 3000 block of Park Avenue, in hopes of finding a solution to the problem. The meeting is open to the public.
