ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office requested four canine cadaver and search teams this morning after searching more than 128 acres for a missing Lincoln County woman.

The canine cadaver and search teams are with Missouri Region C Technical Rescue team.

Since June 23, police have been searching for William Benhardt and Susette Benhardt, who were last seen together arguing at Snow Hill Nursery, which they own, on June 22.

William Benhardt was found dead in his vehicle with a self-inflicted gun shot wound in Montgomery County. His .357 revolved had fired two shots, police said. However, one of the shots was discharged at unknown time and location.

The search for Susette Benhardt continues.

The Lincoln County Fire Protection District No. 1 will also provide drones to the search, in addition to search teams on the ground and in the water. Dive teams will search for missing woman in bodies of water on properties, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said through a press release.

The Sheriff's office said firefighters are staged in the area, should the canine units find anything.

Police said the couple was going through a divorce but were still living together.

Susette Benhardt's cell phone was located in a washing machine in the couple's home. Her whereabouts are not known.

Anyone with information is asked to call 636-528-6100.
